Push for a citation, and read what someone claims as support.
Often, the person making the claim will softly and silently vanish.
Of course they show up elsewhere with a new load of pony-here-somewhere claims. There’s no shaming people who do that.

Not to worry Cola! The US ‘produces’ so little beyond mere hamburgers or pizzas these days that your point is OBE. But if your speaking of imports, now that’s a different can of tuna. When it comes to imports, we’re drowning in them and simply have to squelch the flow. Perhaps when the Chinese and Indians increase their capacity another 50% they’ll be able to afford the stuff they’ve been giving to us on credit. Oh well, there’s always hope. Let’s also hope they don’t demand payment for all those worthless bonds and securities we’ve been “selling” them;-)

I clicked on the a link in the blogroll and wound up browsing to this site #mce_temp_url# . On their blogroll, they have a category towards the bottom "OTHER VOICES - 'SKEPTICS', INDUSTRY, MARGINALIZED VIEWS" Besides the unapologetic bias, one of the blogs listed in the category is http://rabett.blogspot.com/ . Since when are Eli and the "Bunnies" considered "skeptics?" Fictional characters perhaps. Could the quirky 3rd person narrative style have been perceived as satire? (and when will I become proficient at HTML? I used the little icon, 3rd from the right. Oh well!)

As I said at the top, activists lobby groups have responsibities in 'the message' they give out.. This one predates the greenpeace "we know where you live ' episode.. This one is also official. The CAGW actvists behaviour is going to get more like this, more extreme, as they see the goals slip away.
